ISO certificates

Makedonski Telekom officially earned the recognition for the quality of its operation with the customers, partners and stakeholders with the introduction of several ISO certificates in the past few years.

The ISO certification provides Makedonski Telekom with competitive advantage on the Macedonian telecommunication market but also increases the effectiveness and efficiency in the operation of every individual in the company.

	The scope of ISO 14001:2004 is the following: Engineering, Sales and Retail of Telecommunication, IT and Electronic Services, Equipment and Systems.
	The scope of ISO 9001:2008 is the following: Engineering, sales, provisioning and retail of telecommunication, IT and electronic services, equipment and systems.
	The scope of ISO 27001:2005 is the following: Use of all information, information systems and information assets, including facilities, data, software, hard copy documents and employees and with reference to engineering, sales, provisioning and retail of telecommunication, IT and electronic services, equipment and systems.
	The scope of ISO 20000-1:2005 is the following: IT service management for the purpose of providing services for sale and delivery of IT equipment, telecommunications, IT, system integration of business customers covering activities for design, development, distribution and maintenance.

The Environmental Policy of Makedonski Telekom AD – Skopje, as a leading operator in the sphere of telecommunication services in the Republic of Macedonia, takes the responsibility and undertakes to abide by the Law on Environment and other regulation related to the environment and strives for constant improvement of the company’s impact on the environment.

Pursuant to the foregoing, Makedonski Telekom considers that it is of utmost importance to perform its operation with awareness for its impact on the environment and therefore it will exert efforts to apply this practise in all of its operations, by making sure that it performs its activities on national level as a “Good Corporate Citizen”.

Our Environmental Policy clearly indicates our minimum requirements:

• We have a social responsibility to protect the environment and our thinking and acting are aimed at life sustaining society in the interest of the future generations.
• We place utmost importance to the environment protection. The management of Makedonski Telekom is directly responsible for defining and implementing the Environmental Policy of the Company.
• We use a modern environment management system in order to ensure efficient application of our Environmental Policy.
• Our Procurement Policy is aimed at respecting the goals for environment protection. These goals also affect our conduct towards the contracting parties.
• We strive to find solutions for products and services that preserve the energy and the natural resources.
• We actively involve our employees in the environment protection measures.
• We inform the public and the shareholders and promote a constructive dialogue.
