Strategy - Landmark 2008-2010Let’s take down the barriersIt is time to take down the barriers and become a really market oriented company. This is the underlying credo of the new company strategy and marketing concept for the 2008/2010 period adopted by the Board of Directors of the Company, at the beginning of March. The new strategy is in line with the strategy of Deutsche Telekom and Magyar Telekom, as well as the national telecommunications strategy and lies upon four strategic pillars.Mission and visionThe part referring to the company development states that we believe Makedonski Telekom was so far good at accepting its position on the market. However, from now on we will have to really adjust to the market in order to strengthen our success and meet the customers’ expectations. Our vision for the future is to be a leader on the market and a customer-oriented company by providing high quality integrated communication services and entertainment contents. We will strive to implement it through the defined mission, i.e. by providing a superior offer of communication and contents products with exceptional customer care and top quality and technical possibilities with great services. The four pillars of the strategy1. Boosting competitiveness in Macedonia – assumes boosting the market orientation and meeting the customers' expectations; boosting the structure of the sales points and getting closer to the customers; expanding the SME sales channels and using indirect sales channels with IT vendors; using the potential with direct optical connections (Fttx) – a service which will provide a significantly high flow of information of any form and will represent a basis for future development of the product portfolio of Makedonski Telekom, etc. 3. Construction of a base for mobilization of Internet and the Web 2.0 trend – we will strive to obtain a second 3G license, we will develop appropriate products and we will differ from the competition by offering differentiation of the product features and we will support the contents development in the direction of creating values in the area of e-society. 4. System approach to business customers – an offer of a clear and all-encompassing portfolio of products and providing top quality, defining end-to-end and integrated solutions for the customers and development of the sales staff with regards to their knowledge, sales and negotiation skills. |
