The T-Mobile and T-Home customers will take part in the filming of the Hollywood road “Move on”. This amazing experience for the Macedonian citizens is a result of the cooperation of Deutsche Telekom with the Hollywood director Asger Leth aimed at creating "Move On", the first interactive road movie. The leading role in the film “Move On” is given to Mads Mikkelsen, the star of the films “Casino Royale”, “The Three Musketeers’, “Monsters vs. Aliens" and "The Clash of the Titans".
For the first time in the film history, customers from 11 European countries members of the Deutsche Telekom Group, including Macedonia, will have a unique opportunity to participate in the process of creating a high-budget film. Starting from the pre-production until the completion of the film, thanks to the products and the services on the mobile Internet of Deutsche Telekom, the customers will have the opportunity to create elements of the film: to suggest filming locations, to play the role of virtual casting agents, to influence the choice of music, and some of them to be actors in the film, thus helping in the implementation of this exciting project.
With the realization of this project, the customers of Deutsche Telekom from Macedonia, Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Montenegro, the Netherlands and Slovakia have the opportunity to create a unique collaborative film and become part of a one-off adventure, which is also a part of the brand philosophy of Deutsche Telekom (DT) - "Life is for Sharing".
The film lovers from Macedonia will be able to learn more about this challenge and to join this creative journey through the site www.move-on-film.mk.
The script for this road movie has been meticulously written by the award winning screenwriter Matt Greenhalgh so as to entice the customers to express themselves and to think creatively. The story is about one man’s journey across various parts of Europe, and his mission, to deliver a mysterious silver suitcase and keep it safe from harm at all costs, with the help of the people from each country. At the same time, the director Leth and his team will be able to stay in touch with the customers from all over Europe, and the creative ideas and initiatives of the audience will be incorporated in the production which will be implemented in 8 countries and which should be completed over a period of only 30 days.
“I am hugely excited about the prospect of being able to involve so many people in this creative journey. I believe that we will be able to create something really unique and engaging and I really see this project as part of the next chapter in the way in which films are created, says Asger Leth, the screenwriter of the film “Move On”.
"So far, I have played mysterious characters. However, the idea to play a character of a man who is travelling through Europe is not only initiated by the director, but it is also a challenge for me that I’m really looking forward to face", says Mads Mikkelsen, the leading actor in the film "Move On".
“Move On” is ultimately a story about one man’s mission to stay one step ahead of the rest of the world whilst he’s on the move. Being one of Europe’s biggest providers of mobile internet products and services, keeping people connected is something Deutsche Telekom knows a lot about. Whether in terms of the film’s scenario, the technical demands and the communication requirements that go with making a movie in multiple locations, or the possibility for the customers to share an unforgettable filmmaking experience, the partnership with Asger and “Move On” is a natural fit.
