Makedonski Telekom and T-Mobile Macedonia donate tourist train for the visitors of the Skopje ZOO

Skopje ZOO got a tourist train through donation from Makedonski Telekom and T-Mobile Macedonia. The tourist train, which has a modern design and it is of a unique type in the region, was brought to provide pleasant visit and beautiful moments to all visitors of the ZOO.   

The train is primarily intended for transport of children that now will be able to have organised rides with the train and to visit and become acquainted with all animals living in the Skopje ZOO. The train has two cars with a capacity for transport of 36 persons and it will be put into use as of today, 11 June 2012.

The companies were collecting the funds in phases in a period of 3 years and they managed to make this donation worth of EUR 80,000.

According to the Chief Executive Officers of Makedonski Telekom and T-Mobile Macedonia, Mr. Daniel Szasz and Mr. Zarko Lukovski, the successful completion of this project is a result of many years of work, partnership and significant commitment of both companies to projects of interest for the society. The companies believe that this action serves as an example for the business sector in terms of supporting important activities and helping in the improvement of the quality of life of all citizens of Macedonia.      

This donation of the two companies is a step closer to the implementation of the joint idea for modernisation of the Skopje ZOO by introducing many entertaining activities but also by complying with the security criteria for all visitors - stated Skopje ZOO Manager, Tatjana Stamenov.
