Makedonski Telekom shall pay the dividend for the year 2009

The Shareholders’ Assembly of Makedonski Telekom AD - Skopje, at the continuation of the meeting interrupted on 25.06.2010, held on 02.07.2010, adopted the Resolution on dividend payment for the year 2009. Pursuant to the Resolution of the Shareholders’ Assembly, the dividend for the year 2009 has been defined in a total gross amount of MKD 6,470,029,239.00, i.e. a gross amount of MKD 75.01 per share (rounded up to two decimals), which includes income tax, personal income tax and withholding tax, where applicable on the day of the dividend payment.

Makedonski Telekom AD – Skopje, in accordance with the legislation applicable on the date of the dividend payment, from the gross dividend amount of MKD 75.01 per share shall withhold and pay:  a) 10% profit tax and 10% personal income tax in the name of individuals; b) 10% profit tax and 10% withholding tax (where applicable) in the name of legal entities - foreign residents.

All shareholders who shall be recorded in the Shareholders’ Book of Makedonski Telekom AD – Skopje on 09.07.2010 shall be entitled to dividend. Last day of trading with a right to dividend for 2009 shall be 06.07.2010, whereas first day of trading without a right to dividend for the year 2009 shall be 07.07.2010.  The dividend payment shall be effectuated in the period from 12.07.2010 until 25.07.2010.
