On the eve of October, the month in which the focus worldwide is put on raising the awareness about the need to fight breast cancer, Makedonski Telekom in partnership with the Association "Borka - for Each New Day", with its support and its teams, joined the global digital campaign Race for the Cure, which took place on the last weekend of September in more than 30 cities in Europe, including Skopje and 13 other towns throughout Macedonia.

Recognizing that these actions are crucial and absolutely necessary for education purposes, the company has been supporting this "pink" initiative for several years in a row, thereby helping the messages to reach as many members of the female population as possible. There are many reasons for such support, but the key motives lie in the intention to build a humane digital society in which the technological benefits serve the citizens.

Recognizing the digital character of the 2020 campaign, where every step of the participation – from signing up, through sharing, to sending personalized messages of support – took place through a common European platform, we sent a message that we will not stop until we make a positive difference in the society. In fact, for development of the digital society and general welfare we need equal participation of healthy individuals, and the company is committed to creating technological conditions for that, on the one hand, and to supporting such humanitarian actions, on the other hand.
