Second in a row eco-action for cleaning that was attended by the Telekom employees as part of the long-term company initiative #Telekom Goes Green

Today, Makedonski Telekom’s employees implemented an action for cleaning the litter in the City Park. As part of this eco-action, more than 150 employees in Makedonski Telekom jointly participated in the cleaning of the scattered litter on the section from the Aleksandar Palace Hotel to the central part of the City Park.

The technological advancement must always keep up with the increase of the awareness about its impact on the lives of the citizens and the society. In that context, for many years now, the employees of Makedonski Telekom as a telecommunications leader, nurture the social responsibility as a practice and are highly aware of the importance of the care for the environment. Being aware that every change in society starts with every individual, the mail goal is to set a personal example in order to achieve positive results. The idea of such actions is, with joint efforts, to slowly but surely raise the eco-awareness in the society, to motivate the individuals and the organizations to improve the environmental conditions, which will enable conditions for carefree growth of the young generations in the future.

The cleaning of the City Park is the second in a row eco-action this year which was attended by the Makedonski Telekom employees as part of the long-term company initiative #Telekom Goes Green. The first cleaning action took place at the beginning of June, when the employees collected the litter from the park-forest Vodno.
