The procedure for activation of internet package of Makedonski Telekom has become faster and simpler than ever

Makedonski Telekom has simplified the procedure for activation of the internet service in order to ease the access to broadband internet. In addition to the Telekom shops or by calling the Contact Centre on 122, every customer of the fixed telephony of Makedonski Telekom, who wants to subscribe to the Call & Surf package with internet and telephony, can activate the service on his own from his/her home in less than two minutes. Thus, the customers don't need to go to the Telekom shops and the waiting time for activation of the internet packages is decreased from several days to less than two minutes.

The procedure for activation of internet package from home is now simpler, faster and easier, without installation of any additional equipment. The customer connects the PC or smart phone to the router, which is already installed in his/her home, opens the internet browser and when the web site "My Telekom" opens, he/she clicks on the desired internet package. Right after that, the customer can start surfing on the internet. In addition to the internet access, with the Call & Surf packages, the customers get included minutes for making calls, as well as 24 hours support.

This innovation for activation of packages from home, which is the first of its kind in Europe, is a result of the benefits of the state-of-the-art network of Makedonski Telekom which is All-IP.
