Donation to the Institute for Respiratory Diseases in Children - Kozle

Makedonski Telekom donated medical equipment to the Institute for Respiratory Diseases in Children - Kozle, which is essential for faster and more effective diagnosis, as well as treatment of children with respiratory diseases. The donation comprises 2 polysomnography devices and one apparatus for non-invasive ventilation for performing screening of obstructive sleep apnea, monitoring and diagnostic assessment of cardio-vascular conditions in children. Additionally, the apparatus for non-invasive ventilation helps in keeping the airways of the patients open by providing continuous airflow.

The Institute for Respiratory Diseases in Children – Kozle is a leading Institute in our country and the region for complex respiratory diseases in children. The purpose of the Institute is to provide full paediatric care of the patients. The Institute for Respiratory Diseases in Children – Kozle treats 38.000 children per year, of which 4.000 are hospitalized and 35.000 are treated in the out-patient ward.
