Makedonski Telekom continues building the 5G network also in the new year. So far, 13 cities in Macedonia have been prepared for 5G, while by the end of January 2022, also the regions of Strumica and Radovis will be covered with equipment of the latest generation.

By means of continuous investments and intensive on-site work, state-of-the-art communication infrastructure is being installed which will enable gigabyte speeds and better technological capacities for the customers.

By the middle of this year, the major part of the population in the urban areas will be able to use 5G services, which is an entire year ahead of the expectations recorded in the national strategy. Telekom will offer 5G services immediately after obtaining the approvals for radio frequencies use from the AEC.

The great speeds and capacities of the new 5G network will revolutionize the customer experience by ensuring faster-than-light sharing of contents and a low latency. This technology will be the driving force for the development of new features and unprecedented services and products that will make our life simpler and better in all spheres.

The use of all the advanced features of this network will take place gradually in the course of the forthcoming years as the possibilities of the new technology continue to grow.
