1000 New Year’s gift bags for the children from all around Macedonia

For the ninth year now, the Foundation T-Mobile for Macedonia organises a humanitarian New Year's caravan for the most vulnerable groups of children. As of 24 until 28 December, the volunteers of the Foundation will organise New Year’s plays for children and distribute New Year’s gift bags to over 1000 children throughout Macedonia.

Various institutions are being visited every year in order to cover as much children as possible; however the goal remains the same – to help the ones who need it the most. Orphanages, institutions for children with physical disability, with impaired vision and hearing, children with special needs, and children from the socially endangered families are visited as well.

This year the New Year’s caravan will visit the following institutions: SOS Children’s Village, Daily centre for children with cerebral paralysis Montesori, Displaced children in the student dormitory Stiv Naumov, Daily centre for autistic children – Zelezara, primary school Goce Delcev in Ljubanci, Institute for rehabilitation for children and youth with impaired hearing Koco Racin in Bitola, Daily Centre for children with intellectual disability in Resen, Institute for rehabilitation of children and youth in Skopje, Institute for rehabilitation of children and youth with impaired vision Dimitar Vlahov in Skopje, Primary school for children with special needs Zlatan Sremac, Children’s Home 11 Oktomvri in Skopje, Daily centre for autistic children in Strumica, Institute for protection of children and youth with physical disability Partenie Zografski – Banja Bansko, Medzasi-daily centre for street children, Children’s Surgical Hospital, Children’s Clinic and Institute for respiratory diseases in children Kozle.

Volunteers, employees of T-Mobile and Makedonski Telekom, who are part of the Foundation, will take part in this action. The caravan is organised every year since the very founding of the Foundation in 2002.
