The employees in T-Mobile and Makedonski Telekom will bring joy to over 2000 children throughout Macedonia.

For the thirteenth year now, the Foundation T-Mobile for Macedonia will traditionally organise a humanitarian New Year's caravan for the most vulnerable groups of children. The caravan will visit children without parental care, children with special needs, children with impaired hearing and vision, children with physical disability and children from the socially vulnerable families and will organise a special New Year’s play and distribute gift bags to them.

For us, the end of the year is a time to visit the most vulnerable categories of children throughout Macedonia and to spend unforgettable time together. This period is characterised by the giving gifts, sharing good thoughts and New Year’s wishes and therefore we want to address the children who need the love and attention the most and to try, at least for a moment, to make them smile, say the volunteers.

The caravan will be conducted by volunteers employed in T-Mobile and Makedonski Telekom. This year, as of 17 until 30 December, the volunteers will visit over 2000 children throughout Macedonia. Various institutions are being visited every year in order to cover as much children as possible; however the goal remains the same – to help the ones who need it the most.

The New Year’s caravan will visit the following institutions: SOS Childrens’ Village, Primary school for children with special needs “Maca Ovcarova” – Veles, Primary school for children with special needs “Zlatan Sremec” and Primary school for children with special needs “Idnina” in Skopje, Association of children with autism “In My World”, Primary school for children with special needs ”Sveti Kliment Ohridski” in Novo Selo village, Paediatric Surgery Clinic, Institute for Respiratory Diseases in Children-Kozle, Daily centre for children with special needs from Prilep, the Units for children’s diseases in the City Hospitals in Prilep, Bitola, Stip, Veles, Strumica, Ohrid, Daily centre for children with cerebral palsy in Zelezara, children accommodated in the dorm of the primary school “Goce Delcev” in Ljubanci, Institute for rehabilitation of children and youth with visual impairments “Dimitar Vlahov and preschool children in Skopje and the Orphanage “11 Oktomvri” in Skopje, Institute for children with impaired hearing “Koco Racin” and the Institute for rehabilitation of speech, voice and sound in Bitola, Daily centres for street children in Suto Orizari and Avtokomanda and Kisela Voda, the “Sumnal” association, children of single parents who are members of "Minus and Plus", Foster Home for children with educational-social problems “25 Maj” in Skopje, Daily centre for children with special needs in Krusevo, children who are victims of domestic violence and children in the dorm of the primary school “Hristijna Todorovski Karpos” in Kumanovo, children with special needs in the kindergarten in the primary school "Lirija" and "Andreja Saveski – Kikis” in Tetovo, children with special needs in Debar, State secondary school for deaf students “Partenie Zografski, children in classes intended for children with special needs in Kavadarci, the children’s unit in the “Sveti Erazmo” hospital in Ohrid, the children placed in foster families in Skopje, “Lastovica" association and children who attend the Institute for rehabilitation of speech, voice and sound in Skopje.
