Makedonski Telekom continued its successful operations in the third quarter of the year as well. The trend of large investments in the development and modernization of the network continued, accompanied by growth across all segments, increase in the number of customers and a focus on delivering the best customer experience.

The earnings before interest, taxation depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased by 6.1 percent compared to the previous year, and the net profit increased by 14.9 percent. The sales revenues at the end of the first nine months of 2025 also increased by 1.6 percent.

As a result of our commitment to creating and implementing smart solutions, the revenues from system IT integration increased by as much as 28.6 percent.

Investments and network expansion

With strategic investments, we continue to expand and modernize the network and to introduce new technologies. The total capital investments (CAPEX) at the end of the third quarter of 2025 amounted to 1,614 million denars, which is an increase of 44.9 percent compared to the same period last year.

Our 5G network is available to 97 percent of the population in Macedonia, and it provides gigabit speeds in almost all cities in the country. With the largest optical infrastructure, we cover 60.45 percent of the households, i.e. we provide 361 thousand optical accesses, which is almost twice as much compared to all other operators on the market combined and 6.6 percent more compared to the same period last year.

Superior customer experience

According to the TRI*M index for measuring the customer satisfaction, we are the number one telecommunications brand in Macedonia. Our commitment to superior customer experience has resulted in an increase in the number of customers and leadership in all segments.

The number of broadband internet customers increased by 3.4 percent and amounts to 224 thousand, while the total number of internet access points increased by 3.3 percent. In the segment of mobile communications, there is a slight increase in the customer base which amounts to 1.3 million. In fixed telephony, we have maintained the leading position with 62.7 percent. We remain in the leading position in the TV market as well, with a share of 37.4 percent. The new generation digital television – MagentaTV – is accepted excellently, which has brought a growth of 6.7 percent or a number of 165.9 thousand customers.

With the first digital programme for prizes and benefits for the customers - Magenta Moments, we reached 341,000 customers.
