Volunteers from Makedonski Telekom will bring joy to 2000 children throughout Macedonia

Today, in the Children’s Clinic in Skopje, the New Year’s Caravan of the Foundation Telekom for Macedonia started. This year, the Caravan that has been organized for thirteen years now will bring joy to more than 2000 children throughout Macedonia.

Organized by volunteers employed in Makedonski Telekom, the New Years’ Caravan will visit the most vulnerable groups of children: children without parental care, children with special needs, children with damaged hearing and vision, disabled children, children from socially disadvantaged families and sick children treated in health institutions.

Spending time with the children and donating to them is a tradition of the employees in Makedonski Telekom and for them this time of the year is association for the New Year’s Caravan. Some of them are part of this humanitarian activity for years, and this year the caravan will be realized by more than 50 volunteers.

As of today until the end of December, New Year’s bags will be donated and performances will be organized in families and institutions. The institutions are varied each year in order to visit as many children as possible, with the only goal of bringing joy and New Year’s atmosphere to the children that need that the most.
